HDPE pipe
The smooth unevenness of the surface inside the pipe means that there is very little friction between the conveying fluid and the pipe wall. Its viscous properties are so low that it does not form a residue on the pipe wall from the liquid through it.
As the smoothness of the inner surface increases during use, the adhesive properties decrease.
Steel pipe
Conductivity deteriorates during use. The cross section of the pipe is reduced. Sedimentation increases the uneven surface inside the pipe, which in turn increases the cost of fluid transfer.
